Hi, I'm Denique "Neeky" Dennis. I help communities and organizations move forward, together. My work is rooted in a simple belief: people are more likely to support what they help create. Whether I'm leading a strategic planning process, facilitating a community conversation, or helping an organization navigate change, my goal is to create the conditions for thoughtful decisions, meaningful participation, and lasting progress.
I'm a Licensed Social Worker, strategist, and community development professional with experience helping nonprofits, public agencies, faith-based organizations, and community partnerships tackle complex challenges and move important work forward.
My background in social work shapes how I approach every engagement. I believe relationships matter, trust matters, and the way we do the work matters just as much as the final outcome. My role is not to come in with all the answers. It's to help people have the conversations, build the understanding, and create the direction needed to move forward together.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me tending my garden, caring for our chickens, hosting friends and family around the table, or investing in my local community. As a first-generation immigrant from Jamaica, I learned early on the importance of community and people showing up for one another. Those experiences continue to shape how I live, lead, and work. They remind me that meaningful progress rarely happens alone. It happens when people come together around a shared purpose and commit to moving forward together.
At the end of the day, I love helping people do good work together. It's that simple.
